Digital Versify provides six digital marketing services to businesses in Gravesend and North Kent: SEO, local SEO and Google Business Profile management, Google Ads and PPC, web design, content marketing, and social media marketing. Monthly retainers range from £250 to £1,500 depending on the service and scope, with website builds priced separately from £500. Every service is sold individually on a rolling monthly basis rather than as a bundled package, because most businesses need one or two of these rather than all six. This page sets out what each service does, what it costs, and — more usefully — how to work out which one addresses the problem you actually have.

Most agency service pages list everything the agency sells and invite you to enquire. That is not useful to you, because the hard part is not finding out that SEO exists — it is working out whether SEO is what your business is missing, or whether you are about to spend six months and several thousand pounds solving a problem you do not have.
So this page is built as a decision tool rather than a menu. It starts with the six services and what each costs, then moves to the part that matters: matching the symptom you are actually experiencing to the service that fixes it, and being explicit about the order these should be bought in.
What each service does, and what it costs
Every price on this page is the real starting range, published so you can rule things in or out before contacting anyone.
SEO
Technical, on-page and off-page work together, building organic visibility across Google’s standard results. Three to six months to meaningful movement.
£300–£1,500 / month
SEO in Gravesend →
Local SEO & Google Business Profile
Google Maps and the local Map Pack, driven by Business Profile optimisation, citations, reviews and proximity signals.
From £250 / month
Local SEO in Gravesend →
Google Ads & PPC
Paid search built on message match and Quality Score fundamentals. The only service here that produces enquiries this week rather than this quarter.
£400–£1,500 / month
PPC in Gravesend →
Web Design
WordPress and Shopify builds designed around conversion and crawlability, not around a template that looks good empty.
From £500 per build
Web design in Gravesend →
Content Marketing
Topical clusters that build authority and get cited by AI assistants as well as ranked by Google. The slowest and most compounding of the six.
£350–£1,200 / month
Content marketing in Gravesend →
Social Media Marketing
Social tied to enquiries rather than follower counts — and, on LinkedIn, to AI citation, which is now a genuine visibility channel.
£300–£900 / month
Social media in Gravesend →
On bundles. We do not sell a combined package, and we would be cautious of anyone who leads with one. A bundle is priced for the agency’s convenience, not your problem — and it makes it impossible to tell which part of the spend is working. Buy one service, judge it on its own numbers, add another when the first is earning its place.
Which service does your business actually need?
Start from the symptom, not the service. The left column is what you are experiencing; the right is what fixes it.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile. This is the cheapest fix on the page and often the fastest. If your profile is unclaimed, nothing else should be funded until it is.
Web design. Sending more traffic to a page that does not convert multiplies the cost of the same result. Fix the leak before turning up the tap.
Google Ads. It is the only service here that works on a timescale of days. Run it while SEO builds underneath, then reduce spend as organic visibility takes over.
A PPC audit before increasing budget. This is nearly always message match or landing page, not bid strategy. More budget on a broken funnel just loses money faster.
Content marketing. This is a topical authority gap — Google has no reason to see you as an authority on anything beyond your own brand name.
Google Business Profile for local queries, then content and LinkedIn for everything else. Roughly 29% of local AI citations trace back to GBP data.
Social media or content, depending on whether your customers browse or search. This is an awareness problem rather than a findability one.
If two of these describe you, buy the cheaper one first. It is almost always the right call — it costs less to be wrong, and the results tell you whether the second is needed at all. The most common expensive mistake we see is a business funding SEO for six months when the actual problem was a website that converted at under 1%.
The order these should be bought in
Buying in the wrong order is the single most expensive mistake in small business marketing, and it is almost always the agency’s fault rather than the client’s.
Google Business Profile
Free to claim, cheap to optimise, and it feeds both the Map Pack and roughly 29% of local AI citations. There is no scenario where funding another service before this makes sense. If yours is unclaimed, we will tell you to fix that before taking any retainer.
The website
Everything downstream sends traffic here. A site that converts at 1% instead of 3% makes every pound spent on SEO, ads and social worth a third as much. This is the multiplier, and it is the step most often skipped because it feels like a cost rather than a channel.
Search visibility — SEO or PPC
Which one depends entirely on your timeline. PPC if you need enquiries inside a month; SEO if you can wait three to six and want the visibility to persist after you stop paying. Businesses with budget for both usually run ads while SEO builds.
Content and social
These compound slowly and are the hardest to justify early, which is exactly why they should be funded once the first three are working rather than instead of them. They are also where AI visibility is won, so “last” does not mean “optional”.
A test worth applying to any proposal. Ask which step of this sequence the agency thinks you are on, and why. If the answer is that you need all of it starting Monday, the proposal was written before anyone looked at your business.
How the six compare on the things that matter
| Service | Time to result | What happens if you stop | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local SEO & GBP | 2–8 weeks | Rankings hold for a while, then decay slowly | From £250 |
| Google Ads & PPC | Days | Enquiries stop the same day | £400–£1,500 |
| SEO | 3–6 months | Visibility persists for months, then erodes | £300–£1,500 |
| Web design | Immediate on launch | Nothing — it is an asset, not a subscription | From £500 project |
| Content marketing | 4–9 months | Published content keeps working indefinitely | £350–£1,200 |
| Social media | 3–6 months | Reach decays within weeks | £300–£900 |
The column that gets ignored is the third one. Two services costing the same per month are not equivalent if one leaves you with an asset and the other leaves you with nothing the day you stop. That difference is the whole argument for organic work over paid — and equally the argument for paid when you need something to happen now.
On cost generally. The figures above are starting ranges for a genuinely local business. Our digital marketing cost guide for Gravesend breaks down what moves each number, what the market rate is across Kent, and where the price floors are below which the work stops being real.
What is true of every service on this page
- Sold individually, never bundled. You can buy one service and nothing else, indefinitely.
- Rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice. No minimum term, no setup fee, no twelve-month tie-in on anything.
- Pricing published before you call. Every service page carries real numbers rather than a “request a quote” wall.
- You own everything. Accounts, profiles, websites, content and analytics are set up in your name from day one and stay there.
- Reporting in plain English. What was done, what moved, what did not, and what happens next — led by enquiries rather than impressions.
- An honest no. If the service you asked about is not what your business needs, we say so before invoicing rather than after.
What we will not do
- Guarantee a ranking position — nobody controls Google’s results, and the guarantee is always attached to terms nobody searches
- Hold your accounts or content as leverage to keep you paying
- Take a retainer from a business whose Google Business Profile is still unclaimed
- Report follower growth or impressions as though they were revenue
- Sell you a service to fix a problem a different service causes
Where we stand on results
Digital Versify Ltd was incorporated in 2024 and is a young agency. There are no case studies on this site yet, and we are not going to invent any. We are currently working with an accountancy practice; that engagement completes in October 2026 and the results will be published here when it does, whatever they show.
In the meantime, judge us on what is checkable rather than what is claimed. The pricing is published on every service page rather than quoted after a call designed to size up your budget. The audit is real manual work and you keep the findings whether or not you hire us. And this site is the worked example — the topical structure, the internal linking, the schema, the depth of the local content. If you want to know how we would approach your site, look at what has been done to ours.
The fair criticism. An agency with a decade of case studies is a lower-risk choice than one without, and you should weigh that honestly. What you get in exchange is direct access to the person doing the work, published pricing, and no contract holding you in place if it is not working.
Questions about the services
Which digital marketing service should I start with?+
Start from the symptom rather than the service. If nobody can find you, that is SEO or local SEO. If people visit but do not enquire, that is the website. If you need enquiries this month, that is Google Ads. If you rank for your own name but nothing else, that is a content and topical authority gap. If your Google Business Profile is unclaimed, fix that before funding anything else — it is free to claim and feeds both the Map Pack and roughly 29% of local AI citations.
Do I need all six services, or can I start with one?+
Start with one. Every service is sold individually on a rolling monthly basis and there is no bundle. Most Gravesend businesses need one or two rather than all six, and buying several at once makes it impossible to tell which part of the spend is producing results. Add a second service once the first is clearly earning its place.
How much does digital marketing cost in Gravesend?+
Individual services range from £250 to £1,500 per month with Digital Versify. Local SEO starts at £250, SEO at £300, social media at £300, content marketing at £350 and Google Ads at £400. Websites are priced as projects from £500 rather than monthly. Below roughly £250 a month the work is almost always automated or outsourced rather than strategic. The full cost guide breaks down what changes each figure.
What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?+
SEO covers your visibility across Google’s standard organic results. Local SEO focuses on “near me” searches and the Google Map Pack, driven largely by your Google Business Profile, proximity, reviews and citation consistency. They are separate disciplines with different levers and different timelines. A plumber needs the Map Pack first; a consultant selling to London commuters needs organic reach. Most local businesses eventually need both.
Should I choose SEO or Google Ads?+
It depends entirely on your timeline. Google Ads produces enquiries within days and stops the moment you stop paying. SEO takes three to six months to move meaningfully but the visibility persists after the spend ends. If you need leads this month and can only fund one, it is Ads. If you can wait a quarter and want something that compounds, it is SEO. Businesses with budget for both usually run ads while SEO builds underneath, then reduce ad spend as organic visibility takes over.
Do you offer a bundled package of all services?+
No, deliberately. A bundle is priced for the agency’s convenience rather than your problem, and it makes it impossible to attribute results to any individual service. Every service here is sold separately and can be bought alone indefinitely. If an agency’s first proposal is the full package, it was almost certainly written before anyone looked at your business.
Is there a minimum contract term?+
No, on any service. Everything is rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice, no setup fee and no minimum term. Some services genuinely need a run to be judged fairly — SEO and content in particular — but that is a reason to be honest about timelines up front rather than a reason to lock you in.
What happens to my accounts and content if I leave?+
You keep everything. Websites, content, Google Business Profile, social accounts, Search Console and Analytics are all set up in your name from the start rather than ours. There is no migration process, no export fee and nothing held back as leverage. Ask any agency this question directly — if the answer takes more than one sentence, that tells you what the arrangement is for.
Can you work with businesses outside Gravesend?+
Yes. We work across Gravesham and North Kent — Northfleet, Swanscombe, Meopham, Southfleet, Higham, Istead Rise and Dartford — and with Gravesend-based businesses selling nationally, where the strategy shifts away from Map Pack visibility towards broader organic reach.
How do I know which service you’ll recommend before I call?+
Work through the diagnosis section on this page — it is the same logic we apply on a call, published openly. If your symptom is on that list, the service named beside it is what we would recommend. The audit conversation exists to check that against your actual data rather than to change the answer.
Not sure which service you need?
A free audit conversation that starts with your problem rather than our price list. If the honest answer is that you do not need us yet, we will say so.
No pressure, no jargon, no lock-in contracts
Every service in detail
